SHOOTING FOOD ON LOCATION

It was “no piece of cake” before compact digital cameras revolutionized our lives and lightened our loads. Wherever I roamed on article assignment, I carried endless canisters of film plus cases of fragile-but-weighty camera gear. Each shoot meant propping the picture, buying and prepping the food, setting up the shot, firing away, and keeping fingers crossed.
